€500,000 settlement for a Hussey Fraser client with amputated fingers

In 2020, Hussey Fraser represented a client who sustained significant injuries in a workplace accident resulting in the loss of fingers.

Our client sustained a crush injury from an industrial shredding machine. He had ongoing pain and sensitivity in his thumb and reduced power in his grip. His day-to-day life was dramatically impacted and he was unable to return to playing sports and had significant scarring.

Hussey Fraser settled this case without the necessity for Court Proceedings and secured €500,000 compensation for our client. Our solicitor Conor McCormack worked closely with our client throughout the process to a successful conclusion.
